Corporate Writing Services

Iron Lava Corp and its parent company started building websites in 1999 and designing brochures in 2001. We have now partnered with Kate Tavender to provide corporate writing services on an as-needed basis for our clients in Canada and the United States.

Kate Tavender has been working as a journalist for over a decade. Her background began in national current affairs broadcasting in Toronto as a producer, reporter and host. She later moved into corporate circles working as a producer and writer. This experience has taught her the fine art of concise and strong communication. Writing always has been at the core of all the work she's done, whether it's writing scripts for Canada AM or the Food Network, or creating corporate videos and spots for major companies.

Now in Calgary, Kate is a busy freelance writer whose features are most often seen in the Calgary Herald. She also has several corporate clients for whom she writes whatever is required from press releases and reports to websites and marketing copy. Her versatility as a writer is a testament to her background in journalism which has prepared her well to meet client needs.
