Database Developer/Web Programmer
Part-time contractor (for future consideration)

Iron Lava Corp is looking for a part-time database developer and web programmer to work on internal and client projects. Working from your office, you will be responsible for web-based application development on content-managed sites, portal sites and ecommerce solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide development estimates for projects
• Work with graphic designers to provide custom web applications
• Test, fix and re-test your work to ensure quality solutions
• Interact with Iron Lava team and clients in person and via phone and email

Experience/Skills Required:

• At least two years real-world experience working with clients on a variety of database-driven websites
• Strong working knowledge of .NET, SQL Server, Access and/or PHP, mySQL
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, DHTML, CSS, ASP, Javascript
• Experience with Macromedia Flash Action Scripting preferred
• Experience with portals, security and ecommerce solutions
• Experience with product testing
• The ability and the discipline to work effectively from your home office
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and to work within strict deadlines
• Must be available for periodic meetings and phone calls between 7:00am MST and 5:00pm MST.
